This development provided a high quality architectural response to a site of significant ecological importance, set with the the desert of Libya, a highly valued natural resource. The buildings were designed to touch the ground lightly, limiting any potential impact on the existing ecology. Buildings were spread across the site to weave between the natural flora present on the site.
